Week 4

This transfer is going way too fast! I feel like I just got mijo out of the CCM... but now he is almost as old as I was when I left Paterson. I am so grateful that I got to train him. I think he is the best.

Antonia and Juan are doing really well. He cut his hair that was nearly down to his bum. He looks so good! She might get baptized the 7 of Dec. It would be the miracle of my mission. I am praying really hard for it. I recognize though that His plan is better than mine. If I dont get to see her baptized maybe its because I am going to see more in the future. Or maybe its because another missionary needs it to change his mission. Whatever it may be, today I feel good :) I am working hard and I am going to change New Jersey this year. 2014 is the only complete year that is the Lord's. It has been a great year, and I am ready to give it my all! As I approach my year mark, I have decided to put down my nets and bury my weapons of war. Its a year late. But better late than never. I am so lucky that my year mark falls on Thanksgiving because we will be having a turkey bowl at the Princeton Stadium. I am going to go crazy. Not only that, but everyone is celebrating my year mark :) 'slike nah... but I am really grateful that I get to remember the last year of my life and be so grateful for it. These truly are my best years.

We did some fun service with leaves this week. We raked a yard for an hour with about 15 people. It took us an hour but we had a 50 yard pile up to my hips. Insanity. The trees here are gorgeous but there are leaves everywhere.
My Tribe is doing well. I think district is boring so we became The Tribe. We are going to be making headbands with feathers this Tuesday to be accountable for the last week. Lets see if it turns out our not.

Frijol forever. I love this place. but more so, I love the people! Our members are awesome. Felix is the perfect example of a father. he sacrifices everything for his daughters. He is awesome! Keep him in your prayers... him and his wife need em.

I am grateful for the gospel. Life truly is good in the gospel. I am grateful for friends and family. I love my Heavenly Father.

I love you all and will be thinking about you this week.

waz good.

Consecrated

This week was a good week. Elder Palmer and I are getting along super well and having a lot of fun.

We are working on becoming more consecrated missionaries and I decided to change. I want to be that consecrated missionary and dedicate everything to him. The rest of my mission I want to lay everything on the altar and work my hardest. I have already received many miracles for making that decision and I will do my best to always be consecrated.
We have started doing a lot more contacting. We have gotten at least ten everyday and the promise that Pres Jeppson gave us way back when is still in effect. We have 5 new investigators. We will see how far they will go and what they will do. I hope one of them turns into the baptism I want before I leave Freehold.

Transfers are coming up and I will probably be transferred. That makes me super sad because Antonia will be getting baptized and married next month. It was such a miracle. We prayed and prayed and prayed that Juan would want to marry her. He started crying in the lesson and they decided to be married. God answered that prayer. Then we found out that she probably couldn't get married. Surprisingly I kept my hopes up and let them know that they still could come to church and raise their children right. I went on exchange and elder Palmer sent me a text saying that they can get married on Dec 17 or 18! I am so happy that this family will one day go to the temple.

Something we have a focus on in this mission (and a lot of missions probably have it) is viewing our investigators in temple white instead of baptismal white. Changes the game.
We had the primary program yesterday, and I was really touched by that. I want others to have the ability to be with their families forever. I want them to have that awesome blessing!

And that's why I want to be a missionary. I want to help those who are willing to have an eternal family :)

Please keep me and my investigators in your prayers. I would like to have a miracle baptism this transfer. Please pray so that we can find that miracle baptism!

Love you so much family

Last Week Was Awesome!!

Last week was awesome!

We had another good district meeting and my zone leader was very positive about it. The district practically did it all so I cant take any of the praise. They are awesome! They are great missionaries. I have a set that got doubled in training, meaning that neither of them had been in the area and got put in together. Fresh start. But its super hard. Especially when you are training. But they are doing great work! The other two companionships are so obedient and working so hard. My job is so easy. They know what they are doing. I just need to stand back and watch all these cool miracles.

This week one of our investigators accepted a baptismal date for the 30 of Nov! I am hopeful we can get her married and prepared for that day, but we need your prayers. Its all good if she doesn't get baptized this month, but I would love to see her baptized before I leave. If not, I just want her to be certain of the choice she is going to make and know that she will do it. So keep Antonia and Juan in your prayers. We found Juan by street contacting one cold night. Turns out he is a member. We requested his records, got them, and he is a member! Hasnt been to the church since he left Mexico, and a couple years before that. But now his wife has a testimony of the restored gospel! Hopefully they choose to be married and go to the temple!

Eric isnt answering our calls. So we will see what happens this week. I sure love that man, but it kind of hurts when he doesnt answer. I hope he comes one day.

This week is going to be somewhat of a crazy week. We have zone meeting and Interviews Tuesday,  Elder Palmer is going to get a check up on Wednesday, and then our week is practically over. So I will be writing before I know it. I wish time would go slower. I am dreading leaving Freehold. I can't believe how fast my mission is going. It definatively isn't what I thought my mission would be like. But oh well, it is what it is.

Super grateful for this time to serve. I love New Jersey. Its really beautiful with all of the trees changing and falling leaves. I love the Lord, and I am grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I believe He will answer our prayers. I believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I am part of His one and only true church. Lets help others to come as well.

Was good.
